HOW DO I ENQUIRE, BOOK AND PAY? Bookings can be made by Email or by phoning (07) 55109622 To Secure your booking we require a holding deposit. this can be paid by visa or mastercard either over the phone or via email, if you dont have a credit card we can provide you our account details and you can pay by EFT or a deposit at your closest ANZ bank branch. The remaining 50% is payable on the boat after boarding. Balance can be paid in cash, credit card or Eftpos. In the event of your charter being cancelled due to bad weather, you can either choose to go on a future date. if this isnt possible we will fully refund any deposit paid. IVE NEVER BEEN FISHING BEFORE, IS THAT A PROBLEM? - Absolutely not, we give you all the tuition you need to achieve an excellent fishing technique, Our skippers and deckhands are more than happy to help you catch the fish of your dreams. First timers are made to feel more than welcome. CAN I KEEP THE FISH THAT I CATCH? - Yes, you choose to either keep or share your legal fish,or if you prefer you can release your fish. All fish that are kept are gilled and gutted by our crews and placed on ice, we will also bag your fish for you to take home and eat.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE? - Included in the price is all bait, quality Penn fishing rods and reels,all tackle, full tuition from our expert crews. Morning/afternoon tea on half day charters, full tropical lunch on full day trips. free courtesy bus pick up from Gold coast resorts (Burleigh heads to Paradise point).
WHERE DO WE BOARD THE BOAT AND AT WHAT TIME? -We depart from Pier C, Runaway Bay Marina, Bayview st Runaway bay. Deep sea, reef, game, and shark fishing charters depart at 6am and 12pm, Calm water estuary fishing charters depart at 7am and 12pm.
HOW DO I GET TO RUNAWAY BAY MARINA?- From Surfers paradise follow the Gold coast highway North, continue north following the Broadwater until you arrive at bayview st, continue north to 247 Bayiew st, marina is on the right hand side. From Brisbane follow pacific motorway south, turn off at hope island exit and follow to Paradise point, Turn left at mathew flinders drive, follow to the end and turn right onto Bayview st, follow bayview st south to number 247, Marina is on left hand side. Map can be found here Of course if you are staying along the coastal strip you can take advantage of our free courtesy bus
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?-There is plenty of free parking at the marina car park, just seconds away from the boat. No need to worry about parking fines, free parking all day.
WHAT IS THE COST TO HIRE THE WHOLE BOAT AND CREW? - $1150.00au for the 5 hour reef and game trip.10 guests is the maximum. WEEK DAY SPECIAL is $990.00 for a max of 10 guests. (excludes school holidays and public holidays, direct bookings only)
HOW FAR DO YOU GO OUT TO SEA? - Up to 15 nautical miles but rarely more than 10 nautical miles from shore, it depends on the weather, target species and what's on the bite on the day of your trip.
WHICH DAY DO I BOOK AND DO WE FISH IN BAD WEATHER? We recommend that you book your trip early in your holiday stay, so that we can reschedule in case of unsafe weather, (ie strong wind or and high seas) we don't reschedule if rain is forecast or if it is raining, Bring a rain coat. our skippers recieve numerous weather reports daily, in the event of high winds we will contact you if the trip needs to be rescheduled to another date. it is very important that we have a phone no. which we can contact you on. If your trip is cancelled due to bad weather, you will recieve a full refund of your deposit.
WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM NUMBERS REQUIRED TO BOOK? - We build the group. Singles, twos, threes etc are no problem.
CAN I BYO? Yes, byo food, alcohol/drinks, and fishing gear is no problem.
WHAT DO I GET FOR LUNCH - On our 9 hour full day trip we provide you with a full tropical lunch click here for more info about lunch.
WHAT SPECIES WILL WE BE TARGETTING? It depends on the time of year, our most common targets include Snapper, Cobia, Tuna, Mackeral, Dolphin fish,Jewfish, Sampson fish and many more.
WHAT FISHING METHODS DO YOU USE? we use various fishing methods including bottom rigs, floatlines, live baiting, trolling, spinning, jigging and more.
