The South east Queensland region boasts a large variety of pelagic surface swimming fish. Whilst bottom dwelling reef fish abound in our semi tropical waters. Species include Snapper, Pearl perch, Tusk fish, Mahi Mahi, Tailor, Teraglin, Jewfish, Marlin, Mackerel, Kingfish, Cobia, Sailfish, Tuna and many more.
We are also lucky enough to watch the Humpback whales migrating during the winter months, with whale sightings on almost every charter during this period. (June-November).
Dolphins, sharks, and turtles are regularly encountered on our charters, and for the bird lovers there is plenty to see too. Marine bird life includes Gulls, Terns, cormorants, Sea eagles and the mighty Albatross.
Being “Mad keen” fisherman we are up to date with all the latest deep sea fishing gold coast techniques. These include Float lines which consist of super sharp gang hooks with a very light sinker lowered slowly to the reef. This is a highly effective method used to capture the big “Nobby” Snapper and many other species on our Gold coast fishing charter.
Bottom bashing for bread and butter species for the table to catch Teraglin, Cobia and other residents on the local reef structures.
Game fishing charters, trolling and live baiting. Targetting Black marlin, Striped marlin, Blue marlin, Yellowfin tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo and Dolphin fish can be easily arranged.
Our Gold coast fishing charters are a great team building exercise, excellent for Bucks days, corporate groups, birthday parties etc. We offer reef and game trips for both groups and individuals.

Had a fantastic day out on Danesa K this morning, had a fantastic day out with True blue. Came down early in the morning from Mt tamborine for a 6am start. After a quick safety briefing from the skipper we were underway and soon heading out of the seaway. After arriving at the first reef after 25 minutes of travel we were raring to go. Deckhand Troy gave us the low down on how to bait up and use the gear.As soon as the baits hit the bottom the fish started biting and it wasn't long before fish came aboard, as they came up the crew measured them to check they were legal size. Some went back to grow bigger, some were gutted and put in the ice box.We caught Snapper, Jewfish, rock cod, tailor and one lucky guy on the boat got a massive Cobia that weighed 17 kilograms. We fished several different spots with varied results. In between spots the crew dropped the roll down curtains to deflect the sea spray and keep us all warm and dry on a chilly day out. At the end of the day the boys bagged all of our fish to take home to eat.The boat was Tidy and my wife was very pleased to find it had a clean onboard toilet. Cant wait to go again and will recommend to friends and family. Thanks for great day out.Peter Stacey
